Privacy Policy
In short: private by default, nothing sold, and you can export or delete everything. Here's the detail, in plain language.

Our principles
Mommy Refuel is built to be private by default. Your check-ins, notes, recovery and journal stay on your device unless you choose to sync or share them. We do not sell your health or family data — to anyone, ever.
What we collect
- Data you enter — check-ins, mood and energy, sleep, journal notes, and any family or baby information you add. Most of this stays on your device by default.
- Account data — if you sign in with Apple, we receive a private identifier and, only if you allow it, a relay email. You can use Apple's private email relay.
- Basic technical data — the minimum needed to run the app reliably and fix problems. We do not build advertising profiles.
How the AI assistant handles your data
Refuel AI only sends data when you use it. When you do, the app assembles a minimised context — filtered first by permission, then by a safety layer — and transmits it to our server and a third-party model provider to generate a response. Your private journal is never used by the AI. We do not use your personal content to train models.
Permissions & family data
When you invite a partner, nanny or family member, access is decided by role and capability and enforced in our database — not by a name on a list. Joining a family never automatically unlocks your private world. Your Refuel Score, journal and cycle stay yours alone.
Storage & security
Where data is synced to the cloud, it is protected by per-user access rules so you can only reach your own information. We use reputable infrastructure providers and apply reasonable technical safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we design to minimise what leaves your device in the first place.
Your rights
- Export — take your data with you in a tap, limited to what you're authorised to see.
- Delete everything — deletion truly means everything, on device and in the cloud, with no way to resurrect it.
- Access & correct — you can view and change the information you've entered at any time.
Children
Mommy Refuel is for adults (parents and caregivers). Baby and child information is entered and controlled by the responsible adult, under that adult's account and permissions.
Not a medical service
Mommy Refuel is a wellbeing and family-organisation product. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnosis, and the Refuel Score is a supportive signal, not a clinical assessment. For any medical concern, contact your midwife, doctor or local emergency services.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
